For more than 30 years HP’s digital and video production services division, Media Solutions, has provided many of the company’s internal and external communications.
Situation:
That said, the majority of HP’s internal communications projects were farmed out to outside production facilities. Our challenge was to increase Media Solutions’ share of HP’s total marketing assignments from inside the organization.
Solution:
Building on company-wide momentum to re-brand HP as a strategic technology consultant, we recommended positioning the group as a provider of communication solutions (the combination of hardware + software + consulting, in HP parlance) that drive business results. One Degree also injected some serious wow factor into a re-design of the Media Solutions intranet, produced a series of web films documenting their most significant achievements, and created video profiles of senior employees. A quarterly e-newsletter drives traffic to the new site, where folks can find the full story of HP Media Solutions’ capabilities.
When HP Corporate updated its brand, we were asked to do the same with the Media Solutions group, hence the subsequent change in the website and newsletter.
