Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Or, sometimes, maybe busy doing something else.
In advertising, we’re often going to extremes to dramatize a point. Like the State Farm campaign built on the idea that their agents are so responsive, all you’ve got to do is mention the tag line and then, just as if you’d rubbed a magic lamp, BAM!, there’s your agent. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s the well done satire. There’s nothing quite like the humor that’s revealed as a result of illustrating the obvious. This one, by Owen Weber, does just that with that same State Farm campaign. Funny.
